Walking with Mary: Marian Youth Pilgrimage and Priesthood Thanksgiving

Kyoto, Japan —On the occasion of the 195th anniversary of the Marian Youth and the 6th anniversary of my Priesthood Ordination, which both fall within the Holy Year, we organized a pilgrimage to three churches in the Diocese of Kyoto: Kyoto Cathedral, Miyazu Parish, and Fukuchiyama, where I regularly celebrate the Vietnamese Mass every fourth Sunday afternoon.

Fukuchiyama is located about 120 km from my residence. During the Eucharistic celebration, we were blessed with the presence of nearly 150 young people, including 80 members from various Vietnamese communities and the Marian Youth group under my care. The remaining participants were from the local Vietnamese community.

That day, we celebrated three special events in one: my priesthood ordination anniversary, the 195th anniversary of the Marian Youth foundation, and a wedding.

We thank God that through this celebration, we were able to deepen our faith, strengthen our unity, and grow in collaboration as we continue to serve God and His people.
