Pilgrimage of Hope: Youth Rise in Faith in Quiet Kyoto Town

Japan — In the serene coastal town of Amino, Kyoto, 40 Catholics — including children, youth, and Japanese adults — came together from May 3 to 5, 2025, for a three-day youth camp themed “Do not delay – stand up and walk.” More than just a retreat, the gathering became a powerful “Pilgrimage of Hope,” where participants deepened their faith, discerned their vocations, and formed lasting community — all amidst nature, silence, and joy.
