The General Government, together with the Major Superiors, began an eight-day journey of prayer, reflection, and synodal discernment in Colombo. This significant gathering marked an important step in preparing the Congregation for the XXVII General Chapter, fostering hope, unity, and renewed missionary zeal.

The days were dedicated to deep listening, communal prayer, and discerning the Spirit’s guidance for the future mission and direction of the Congregation. Through this synodal process, participants sought to strengthen communion and collaboration across regions.

Among those present was Fr. Jijo Kandamkulathy, CMF, EAD Delegation Superior, who took part in the meeting, contributing to the shared discernment and visioning for the Congregation’s path forward.

The gathering concluded with a call to continued prayer, trusting that this journey will bear abundant fruit for the mission and life of the Congregation worldwide.
