United in Prayer, Walking in Mission: East Asia Delegation Retreat 2026

The Claretian East Asia Delegation commenced its five-day Delegation Retreat in Fukuoka, Japan, from July 27–31, 2026, bringing together 24 members from the Delegation's communities in Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Taiwan, and beyond. More than a regular gathering, the retreat provides an opportunity for the missionaries to step away from their daily apostolic responsibilities, renew their spiritual lives, and deepen their communion as brothers in mission through prayer, reflection, silence, and fraternal sharing.

The retreat is being facilitated by Fr. Callistus Pradeepkumar, CMF, Provincial Superior of the Province of Deutschland, who is guiding the participants through a series of spiritual conferences and meditations centered on missionary discipleship and Claretian vocation. Throughout the week, the missionaries will dedicate themselves to personal and communal prayer, seeking renewed strength and inspiration to continue proclaiming the Gospel with zeal and hope in the diverse cultural contexts of East Asia.
