East Asia Delegation Local Superiors Gather in Osaka for Reports and Future Planning

The Local Superiors of the Claretian East Asia Delegation convened in Osaka, Japan, for their meeting on July 24–25, 2026, held at the Delegation Curia and the parish church. The gathering provided an important opportunity for the superiors to strengthen communion, review the life and mission of their respective communities, and reflect together on the journey of the Delegation. Throughout the meeting, participants presented reports highlighting significant pastoral, formation, missionary, financial, and community events that had taken place across the different regions of East Asia.

Building on these reports, the superiors engaged in discussions to identify priorities and coordinate upcoming activities for the Delegation. They shared insights, exchanged experiences, and explored practical ways to foster greater collaboration in responding to the pastoral and missionary challenges of the region. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to the Claretian mission, encouraging the local communities to continue witnessing the Gospel with creativity, fraternity, and missionary zeal throughout East Asia.
