AMAGASAKI – The annual "Señor de los Milagros" (Lord of the Miracles), Peru's largest festival, commenced on the first Sunday of October at the Amagasaki Catholic Church.
A devotee who has dedicated over a decade to the event expressed deep gratitude, calling it their "life's work." The festival is described as a way to connect with their roots, profoundly deepening their connection to Peruvian culture and identity.
The celebrations will continue across the Kansai region throughout the month, moving to Umeda's Sagrada Familia Church, Kobe's Sumiyoshi Catholic Church, and finally to Hirakata Catholic Church. The festival is a vibrant display of faith and community for the local Latin American population.
