Jubilee Celebrations in Japan Honor Decades of Faithful Service

Osaka, Japan —The Claretian community in Japan recently celebrated a trio of remarkable milestones: Fr. Pedro Umezaki, CMF – 25 years of Priesthood; Bishop Jose Maria Abella, CMF – 50 years of Priesthood; Fr. Antoni Fradera, CMF – 78 years of Religious Profession.

The joyous event highlighted their enduring dedication to mission and ministry. Bishop Abella, a former Superior General, was praised for his leadership, while Fr. Fradera’s 78 years of vows stood as a testament to lifelong commitment. Fr. Umezaki, now a quarter-century into his priesthood, continues to inspire through his pastoral work.The celebration united Claretians, in gratitude for their numerous years of service to the Church in Japan.
