Faith, Gratitude, and Fellowship: Epiphany Parish Celebrates Fr. Ezakias Swamy’s 51st Birthday

MUI WO, LANTAU ISLAND — A spirit of deep gratitude and joy swept through Epiphany Parish as parishioners gathered to celebrate the 51st birthday of their beloved parish priest, Fr. Ezakias Swamy, CMF. The milestone occasion united the diverse community in a heartfelt tribute to his dedicated shepherdship and spiritual guidance across the Lantau mission.

The celebration began with a solemn Mass of Thanksgiving at Epiphany Church, where Fr. Ezakias expressed his profound appreciation to God for the gift of life and priesthood. Reflecting on his ministry with the Claretian Missionaries, he thanked the parish community for their constant prayers, collaboration, and shared commitment to living out the Gospel.

Following the liturgy, the festivities transitioned into a warm community reception featuring traditional songs, shared meals, and lighthearted fellowship. Parishioners from Mui Wo, Tai O, and Peng Chau joined together to honor Fr. Ezakias, presenting tokens of appreciation and sharing personal testimonies of how his pastoral care has enriched their lives and strengthened the parish family.
