The parish of Our Lady of Peace in Keelung, Taiwan, warmly welcomed the birth of Christ this Christmas season with great enthusiasm and joy. This year’s celebration was particularly special, as Claretian Fr. Arturo Morales Venegas marked his first Christmas Mass as the parish priest.

The festivities reached a deeper spiritual significance with the baptism of four new members into the Church—three infants and a 12-year-old child. The parish community came together to embrace these new individuals into the family of God, making it a memorable and sacred moment for all.
Following the Mass, the celebration continued with a vibrant Christmas gathering. Parishioners enjoyed a grand banquet filled with delicious food, uplifting songs, and lively dances. Adding to the spirit of giving, members of the Spanish community participated by distributing Christmas gifts to the children and introducing the traditional game of Piñata, which brought joy to both the young and the elderly.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth, laughter, and the spirit of togetherness. Parishioners shared love and joy, strengthening the bonds of community and unity. This celebration not only honored the birth of Christ but also served as a powerful reminder of the true meaning of Christmas—love, hope, and joy. [Credits from Bro. Joseph Luheng, CMF]
